With all of us spending more time online due to COVID 19, it is important that we make sure online safety is a priority.
See below some links to apps and websites that are child friendly, can be installed on phones and help open discussions around staying safe online with your children.

The Own It app will help you to make smart choices, feel more confident and get advice when you need it.

Supporting families during COVID 19 Pandemic 

If you are struggling and in need of some support to help keep your cupboards full and hungry bellies going, or any other support around finances and debt, please see local support available for you:

Gas Street Central  (0121 622 7034) who are working out of St Luke's Great Colmore Street  B15 2AT:

-food bank
- debt advice
- form filling 
- benefits applications working with CAP
- support for vulnerable families and children with Safer Families
- work with domestic violence and mental health in collaboration with MIND and other groups, 
- a shopping service for those who can afford to pay but cannot get out.

Jonny at Gate Church E. R. Mason Youth Centre, 40 Irving St, Birmingham B1 1DH:
- lots of food available

Edgbaston Community Centre (next door to school):
- sandwiches available between 3 and 4 pm each day.

Asylum Support and Immigration Resource Team

The ASIRT (Asylum Support and Immigration Resource Team) are offering support to families during the Covid19 situation.

The project will direct families to relief projects including food distribution.  The number for the helpline is 01217287030

Resources for Autism helpline

They are launching an emergency helpline for families which will be available out of hours from 5pm – 9:30pm 7 days a week.

The number to call is 07891 476 293.

RFA will ring the family back.  At any other time, families can call the RFA office numbers as normal.
