Welcome to Oasis Academy Woodview We are looking forward to welcoming all of our new reception children and their families this year. At Oasis Academy Woodview we believe that working closely with parents/carers will encourage positive and pleasurable experiences for both you and your child. Starting school is a very important stage of your child’s life. 

First Day

Starting School We would like to settle your child into their new environment as quickly and as smoothly as possible. We fully understand that some children will settle sooner than others. Therefore we will ask parents/carers to try and separate from their child as quickly as possible to avoid them getting upset. Once inside the classroom it will be easier for staff to distract them and settle them. If you are feeling concerned, you can by all means call the school office after 9.30am to get an update. We want your child to be happy and settle into their new school routine as quickly as possible.  On the first day please come through the Reception playground. The doors open at 8.45am, where the staff will be available for any questions before your child will be invited in.
