Principal's Welcome
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I am absolutely delighted to be welcoming you to Oasis Academy Woodview. I took up the headship here in May 2024 and fell in love with the school instantly; it is a privilege to work here with such wonderful staff and pupils. We are a vibrant and friendly Academy located close to Birmingham City Centre. Our website is designed to give you an overview of Oasis Academy Woodview, additional practical information about the Academy, as well as new updates and event information.
Being the Principal at Oasis Academy Woodview gives me a great sense of pride. I am fully committed to the Oasis Woodview community and will continue to strive to ensure we serve our children and their families well.
Your children are the most precious things in your lives and we are privileged that you have entrusted us with their care. I look forward to working in close partnership with you to ensure that your child thrives, feels special and achieves their full potential in all that they do.
Our vision is clear and concise- building character, aspiring futures and empowering communities.
Everything we do at Oasis Academy Woodview is backed by our commitment to the Oasis 9 Habits which are an invitation to a way of life characterised by being compassionate, patient, humble, joyful, honest, hopeful, considerate, forgiving and self-controlled.
At Oasis Academy Woodview, we are keen for all of our children to be the very best that they can be. We strive to ensure that our children experience success in a nurturing and inclusive environment, to help the children to understand that they make a positive difference to the world in which we all live, and to have high hopes and ambitions for themselves and for other people.
We value the contribution our parents make to all aspects of school life and look forward, with your support, to developing a close partnership between home and school.
Our Academy is one where every child is nurtured, where every child is safe and most importantly, where every child is prepared for whatever the future has to offer them.
We encourage our children to be unique, creative, open-minded, reflective and independent individuals, respectful of themselves and of others in our local community and our wider world.
Working together in partnership with parents, carers and the local community, we work hard to provide our children with the best possible life chances, and to be rightly proud of themselves and their efforts as special, unique individuals.
