School of Sanctuary

 

Here at Oasis Academy Woodview, we are committed to becoming a School of Sanctuary by supporting parents and children who are displaced by war, oppression or because of their religious ethnic or political beliefs or just through being a member of a particular social group.

As a school community, we are devoted to social integration inclusion whilst giving opportunities to those who are disadvantaged regardless of their nationality, background, or gender. 

Our school vision and values are clear as we seek to foster love, tolerance, and respect for each other regardless of our differences within a framework of equality fairness and opportunity.

Oasis Academy Woodview is a multicultural academy situated in Edgbaston, Birmingham. Our school has a simple ethos of delivering education through equality, inclusivity and a holistic approach.

We intentionally set out to be an intertwined community. We recognise that we should not only be in the community but of the community too. We seek to educate not in isolation but in partnership with our local and diverse community. 

We are, indeed, a door of hope to children from countries all over the globe, regardless of their status and previous experiences; we receive them with love.
